Consultant Orthopedic Specialist
Dr Georg Ahlbaeumer specializes as a surgeon in all knee and shoulder conditions except joint replacement.
He works with many sports professionals as orthopedic senior consultant including triathlon, running, soccer and snowsports. He works as premier consultant to AS Roma football club 1st team and as consultant for the swiss national snowboard and free-skiing team.
Since 2023 he takes care to the ON Sports Team as a medical consultant as well. He has particular expertise in sports-related injuries. He is authoring and co-authoring number of publications and is active in research regarding stem-cell therapy in osteoarthritic joints in athletes.
